Kaloo

Launched in 1997 by Eric Panciulo (a father himself), Kaloo became the second largest baby brand in France within 5 years. Customers were eager to purchase Kaloo because of the product’s quality, softness, luxury and of course playfulness. In the years since, Kaloo has expanded from the creation and distrubution of soft cuddly toys to include a large assortment of items under the Kaloo name including clothing, perfume and sun care products and even nursery furniture!

You will not see Kaloo in mass market stores. There are over 20 Kaloo boutiques in Europe and Asia and baby boutiques worldwide carry Kaloo products for their customers who appreciate that Kaloo is a gem.

At present, 97% of Kaloo’s distribution is to upscale independent specialty Baby, Gift & Toy stores (Kaloo was the best selling new baby brand for both Saks Fifth Avenue), who are all eager for unique products.

Customers can now shop online at the Kaloo store, and purchase everything from jewelry for mom to diaper bags and carpets for the nursery. A little treat that I found and would have loved to have when my children were infants (maybe it’s not too late, I’m debating this purchase!) are these adorable night lights for the nursery.
