Leanne and I began chatting this summer and therefore my first choice of hat to review was this cute Grape one! When browsing the site, you’ll notice how each hat has a specific knitting technique to achieve the textured and unique look of the veggie or fruit the hat is supposed to be. From the site: This hat is knit using a tuck stitch technique. The “bubbles” serve to add a sense of realism and dimension to the hat. A lovely shade of purple is paired with olive green to create a realistic rendition of a bunch of grapes. For a bit of whimsy, a curly Q has been added along side the stem. Knit with a worsted weight, 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool, yarn. The rolled brim adds just the right amount of cuteness, and makes the hat suitable for both girls and boys.
While going through LA Originals Etsy site, I had so many great photo ideas for my daughter, and I’m sure if you have a little one you’ll get some great ideas for photos too!
1 reader is going to win their choice of any hat from LA Originals – to enter simply go to the site and then leave me a comment here telling me which hat you would choose if you won!
