In my conversations with Nina Jones, the creator of the classic yet funky Jonesy stationery company, she touched on a point that embraces what Jonesy is all about – Would you rather get an e-greeting on your anniversary or a love note?
That pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? In our digital age, we’ve definitely found ways to be closer. I talk to some of my best friends nearly every day on msn and I can share the latest pictures of my kids with family on Facebook. Still, getting a greeting card in the mail or a thank you card with a personal note results in it getting displayed on my fridge for weeks.
Why is that? I certainly don’t post my emails on my fridge. I guess it’s because the fact that someone took the time to write a note and mail it to me means a lot and I post the note to remind myself of my great friends.
Jonesy offers cards, stationery and boxed sets with an array of designs to choose from, but the real creme de la creme here is the customized work from Nina Jones. Together, Nina and her customers can create unique and vibrant stationery including cards, business cards, announcements and wedding invitations to name a few!
I am looking forward to checking out the holiday cards from Jonesy next month, but right now the focus is on Halloween. These cute little vampires on the Halloween cards from Jonesy are my favorite.
Jonesy only uses high quality materials (after all, what is the point of creating beautiful custom stationery only to have it fall flat on poor quality paper) and soy based inks. Nina encourages environmentally friendly options to all her clients.
