The philosophy behind Gardin Clothing, the belief that style can live in harmony with nature, is something I can support – after seeing the amazing quality of bamboo and organic cotton clothing I know now that the potential for sustainable eco-clothing is unlimited.
Gardin doesn’t have a large store filled with clothing but rather focuses on a few specific items for boys and girls (with organic onesies and bamboo blankets coming soon). The girl’s collection features organic cotton 3/4 sleeve tees, organic cotton girl’s long sleeve henleys, and bamboo cotton long sleeve thermals.
The boy’s collection features organic cotton short sleeve tees, organic cotton boy’s long sleeve polos and bamboo boy’s long sleeve thermals.
Gardin was so kind to send us samples from both the boys and girls collections to review. My daughter is in a size 2T but when ordering online it’s so hard to know what the company’s sizing is like. And so, I opted for a size 3T.
We were sent the organic cotton girl’s long sleeve henley in raspberry and the bamboo girl’s long sleeve thermal in lake for her. Both, I’m happy to report, are a little big on her now which means that the sizing is accurate (yay!) 
My son was sent an organic cotton boy’s short sleeve tee in olive and a bamboo boy’s long sleeve thermal in lake, both in size 6 which are a great fit. I found the neck on the thermals a little wider than I am used to, so for my skinny little guy I layered it with a short sleeve tee. Right now in the fall we are getting a lot of use out of the short sleeve tee (the thermals are going to be wonderful for great kids in the winter as bamboo helps keep you warmer!)
