Doodlebops is a children’s television show made here in Canada. We’ve watched it for years now and after receiving The Doodlebops: Where’s Moe? to review, I found out that the Doodlebops have hit the big time! They’re now on Playhouse Disney in the US and the UK. Pretty good for three goofy characters from Canada!
Though they do look a little odd, they’re not to different from many of the strange characters on children’s tv shows these days I suppose. What makes The Doodlebops stand out for me is definitely their catchy songs, fun banter, and of course the live concert scenes in each episode. I get a kick out of watching the parents of preschoolers singing and dancing away in the audience too!
The latest release, Where’s Moe? focuses on our yellow Doodlebop and his various adventures where he learns good life lessons along the way. There’s even a parent’s guide on the back of the dvd which lists what lessons children will learn (no one is perfect, there are appropriate times for being loud and quiet, and everyone has something unique to offer).

– Robo-Moe

– Direct-Play DVD (great for playing in the car, no fiddling around with menus and trying to get to the right screen)

If you’ve never seen the Doodlebops before, definitely give them a chance. They may look a little goofy, but they are really sweet and fun. If you’re not humming “Get On The Bus” by the time you’re done watching this dvd with the kids, I’d be surprised! Bus Driver Bob is the man!
