My daughter will be 2 in November so we are on starting to think about potty training. Yes, starting to think about potty training as we are not ready to jump in with both feet (bad imagery, I know) just yet.
Maybe this winter sometime when we are home-bound for a long stretch we will begin. I have learned with my son that potty training is not an overnight process and it’s best when approached gradually.
The Boon Potty Bench is a great way to introduce the potty because it’s actually a bench too. When we received our Potty Bench from Boon I explained to my daughter that it was a potty and we kept it in the box for a few days – she checked out the pictures on the box and told me daily that it was her “poteeeeeeee.” We now use it as a bench in the bathroom and nothing more. I like the wide step on it – my kids are less likely to slip off of it this way.
Once we are ready to convert the bench to a potty, there are a few cool features about the Boon Potty Bench that are worth mentioning.
