SinuCleanse

I’ve slowly gotten over my aversion to blood – you see, with a 5 year old who gets nosebleeds, I kind of have to mommy-up and deal with it. It doesn’t mean I like it though, and I’m always trying to figure out what sets it off (nose picking!) and what factors are out of our control (dry weather).

When school started, so did the nose-bleeds. I think it may be due to stress (but what came first the chicken or the egg…is anxiety causing him to pick his nose which then causes it to bleed?) After doing more laundry than I’d like, I was relived when new Kids Mist from SinuCleanse arrived in the mail for us to try. I actually thought we’d be using this during cold and flu season first but then wondered if it might work now.

The product was easy to use (just dissolve a 100% preservative free pre-measured package in water) and my son was ok with trying it out as long as it didn’t hurt (it doesn’t of course). The spray tickles more than anything, and the cool thing about this product is you’re not going to get any backwash because of the anti-backwash valve.

Now I can’t say this product can relieve nose-bleeds in all kids, but for mine it correlated with this back-to-school nosebleeds coming to and end. Coincidence or not? What I do know is that I will continue to use this product when and if the nosebleeds come back AND during cold season to relieve stuffy noses.
