Christina Applegate made a great prime time comeback in 2007 with the debut of Samantha Who? Season Two premiered in 2007 and fans were sad to hear that the second season would be the final one. Released on August 25th, 2009, Samantha Who?: The Complete Second and Final Season DVD features all 17 episodes from Season Two.
The series follows Samantha after she awakens from a coma with no memory of her previous life. She soon discovers that she was not a very nice person, pretty shallow, and a non-stop party girl and isn’t happy with this discovery. Season Two brings Samantha a new man and a new job as Samantha continues on her quest to live a better life.

With the potential for this show to be a bit of a downer (party girl tries to reform and make the world a better place….cue the chirping birds), it thankfully doesn’t go in that direction. Samantha Who? is a lighthearted comedy and Christina Applegate shines (she really is a great comedic actress). It’s unfortunate that this show wasn’t given more of a chance.
