The latest smash-hit Disney Channel Original Series, JONAS, features America’s favorite bro trio as pop idols who tear up the stage by night, and by day live at home with their parents, attend school, and do the dishes. JONAS: Rockin’ the House includes 2 World premiere never-before-seen episodes (“Beauty & the Beat”, “Cold Shoulder”), and Bonus Feature “You’ve Been Jo Bro’d, the Surprising of Chelsea Staub”.
I can appreciate, if not fully understand, the hysteria behind The Jonas Brothers right now. They are at the top of their game, and it’s a bit of a weird feeling realizing that I am now the parent here, smiling and shaking my head at the reaction from tweens and teens over…a boy band. Maybe it’s the same look my mom gave me when I insisted on her marching out and buying the latest NKOTB tape (yes cassette tape) the day it was released, in the morning, so that my friends and I could listen to it at lunch break from school that day.
As a mom, I wouldn’t have a problem at all with my kids listening to and loving The Jonas Brothers. From what I can tell, they’re pretty clean cut, cute, and I even like their music. Here is a clip from the bonus feature You’ve Been Jo Bro’d – Surprising Chelsea Staub:
