If you’re a mommy of a girl, chances are that like me you were attracted to the Mrs.Goodbee Interactive Dollhouse last year before the holidays. Hey, I saw the commercials on TV and even I wanted one just for myself! This year, Caring Corners has released a second product that I am sure is going to be on many wish lists.
When we received the Caring Corners Daisy Greenway Interactive Camper from Learning Curve, I felt very nostalgic checking it out for the first time with my kids. You see, I used to have a camper for my dolls when I was a kid and I can’t tell you the hours I played with it. I’m not sure why it was so appealing, I guess because essentially it was a doll house on wheels! Looking at the Daisey Greenway Interactive Camper, I know this item is going to be very popular in our household for quite some time.
The camper itself opens up and expands – inside there’s bunk beds with a slide, a little bathroom, a kitchen area (with recycling bins!), a tv, and even an area for the pets to eat.
Learning Curve also sent us some doll sets – the Caring for Critters Playset and the Sweet Tree Swing. I should note that regular sized dolls like Barbie won’t fit in the Daisy Greenway Interactive Camper, but all the large selection from the Caring Corners line make choosing the lucky occupants of the camper pretty easy.
Honking the horn makes the Daisy Greenway Interactive Camper light up, sing songs, and also share messages about nature (“What’s that sound?”, etc.), how cool is that? Aside from the overall fun look of the camper, I really liked all the details. My childhood toy camper was pretty basic. This one has details – the cupboards open, the toilet lid in the bathroom actually goes up and down, etc. It’s pretty functional too – the tv and bbq for example both fold away easily. Stickers are included to help your little one personalize it too.
I admit I’m a little biased here for sentimental reasons, but I love the Daisy Greenway Interactive Camper and my kids and I are going to be playing with it for a long time. My 5 year old son even thinks it’s pretty cool, and hey I can’t blame him. It is!
