We have had a Leapster Learning System in our household for almost 3 years now. My little guy loved educational games on the computer and we wanted to find something for him that he could play in the car, or when snuggling on the couch, that wasn’t an advanced gaming system far too old for him.
The Leapster Learning System has served us well. The Leapster has been set aside in recent months, and I had not purchased any games in quite some time (he had moved past Dora’s Pinata Party).
With the release of Digging For Dinosaurs, our Leapster Learning System has been in my son’s hands for the past few days. Geared towards children ages 5-8, this game teaches children dinosaur facts through 6 different fun-filled games! Children learn basic dinosaur facts like what foods each dinosaur needs, fossil facts while digging for dinosaur bones for a museum, map skills while helping a dinosaur navigate a maze and more.
I love that Leapster games have stayed true to their original plan – all games are educational and there’s no need to buy the newest system in order to play the newest games. All Leapster Learning System games can be played on all the systems. Plus my not so little guy can drop his Leapster and…it bounces. Sort of.
1 reader is going to win Digging for Dinosaurs from Leapster Learning System by Scholastic Interactive. To enter, just comment here telling me what other Leapster Learning System game your family has that you like (because obviously you wouldn’t be entering to win a game without a system, right?)
