My ChitChats, based in Nashville, is a company formed by women who, though their own various chit chats, came up with some unique ways to let those in your life know you care. The site features greeting cards and prints for your sisters and best friends.
One of my favorite cards – Grandmotherly Advice. “My grandmother always told me the most important thing to keep in a diaper bag….Was hard liquor”.
My ChitChats has recently added another item to their site and I think it’s going to be a bestseller and the item that My ChitChats will be become known for. Aptly titled, “Did you ever go parking?” this is a journal for mothers, all about you. Are there questions you’ve always wanted to ask your own mom but never figured out how to? What about your own children, do you think one day they would love to hear the story about what their dad was wearing on your first date? 
I wish I was a scrapbooker. I have high aspirations to be one, and have a book with about 5 pages done, but I find it so time consuming to take out all the materials I need to do one page. I love that this journal from My ChitChats can be done gradually, and there isn’t a page of space for each answer – just a few lines to tell each story. So, I can work at it through the summer when I have time in the evenings. I plan to give it to my daughter when she is about 10 or 11.
You can also buy this book for your own mother, with instructions that she needs to give it back to you when she has filled it all in, or to the grandkids! What a treasure to have!
