I don’t think I have come across a clothing line for girls that has been as unique and funky as Matilda Jane! If your little sprite (as a friend called my daughter the other day, I thought it was fitting!) has a unique spirit that needs to be expressed, Matilda Jane likely has the perfect ensemble for you. Matilda Jane has clothing for babies all the way up to tween sizes.
The Ruffles Bottoms are so adorable! There’s several different designs to choose from in them and they really do stand out when wearing them. They can be worn as pants or as capris because of the elastic waist (so the 2T that we received will still be useful to us when she is 4, gotta love that frugal aspect!)
Pairing up the Ruffles Bottoms is easy, a cute little tank is a great way to really showcase the pants, but if you want to complete the outfit with as much expression on top, then the Claudia Cardigan or Lacey Tank are two options. We received both these tops and both of them are really stunning in person – the Lacy Tank is so versatile, not only with Matilda Jane clothing but also, how cute would this top look with a pair of jeans?
The sizing of Matilda Jane clothing is spot on. My daughter is 18 months old (already!) and the 2T is still big on her but will be perfect in a few months. Here she is modelling the Envy Ruffles Green Floral Pant (available in size 2, 4, 6) with the Ellie Halter (available in 18m, 2, 4, 6).
How absolutely adorable is that?! Yes, I am completely biased here but I couldn’t help swooning over my daughter in this outfit.
