I discovered this great Canadian company (based in Calgary, Alberta) when looking for BPA free sippy cups for my daughter. I had no idea that there was a company that actually made BPA free stainless steel bottles! My daughter is lucky; this is one more point for her since she does not want to entirely give up her bottles just yet!
I was sent the 9oz Dark Blue bottle to check out. My first thought was how useful these bottles would be in summer months when trying to keep liquids cold – water or milk would stay nice and cool in a diaper bag as a container like this can keep liquids cool for 5-6 hours.
The lid actually doubles as a 2oz measuring cup for things like powdered formula.
The bottles come in 3 convenient sizes – 4oz, 7oz, and 9oz and are even dishwasher safe. The bottles are compatible with most narrow-necked nipples so it’s an easy transition for a family using bottles already and a great start for new moms starting out (who can avoid plastic bottles right from the beginning).Not surprisingly, Organic Kidz has experienced tremendous success so far (you’ll note that many items are back ordered, a true testament to how fast they are flying off the shelves). Overall I have been impressed with this company and product (and of course I support it because it’s Canadian too!) What I’d love to see next is sippy cups, but I know Organic Kidz is very successful with their baby bottles right now, so hopefully this is something we will see down the road?
