At Word Décor ‘n More, we treat our customers like friends! As such, we know you’d like to know a little about us!The above text is from the About Us section of the Word Decor ‘n More site and I thought it would be an appropriate way to start this review since customer service is on my mind today. Andrea Pascale at Word Decor ‘n More has been such a pleasure to work with, and I agree that she really does treat her customers like friends. The goal of the company is to offer exceptional products at reasonable prices and they have achieved that in my opinion. There really is a whole range of prices out there for vinyl wall art, and when browsing through Word Decor ‘n More I was impressed with the great prices.
The Pre-Designed area offers quotes categorized by areas of the home or specific ideas (family, humor, etc.) What’s cool about this area is that these designs are easy to choose, you simply pick the size (small, medium or large) and then the color and can add it to your cart instantly. These are great for people who ponder over font choices for days; sometimes having everything laid out for you makes things so much easier (in other words, sometimes too many choices can be overwhelming and you don’t know where to start!)
For those who like being a part of every detail, the Create Your Own area is perfect! Using the Custom Design Tool on the site, customers can write their own text (maybe a quote from your wedding song, your child’s favorite book, or a nickname for your baby…), choose the color, and then choose the font. Actually, after playing around with this tool on the site, creating your own design is very easy and very appealing. Once I started thinking about the wedding song idea, I thought of a quote from ours that would be beautiful in our bedroom!
That isn’t the quote that I picked from Word Decor ‘n More, though. I decided to choose one for my mom and put it in my parent’s house over Easter when we went to visit. While vinyl word art is the trend now, it’s safe to say that most people over age 60 haven’t tried this idea and I really wanted to give her house a bit of updating. I showed her the quote that I received and asked her where she thought it would be best. I initially thought of a spot in the bedroom or even in the kitchen but she picked the perfect spot. She has a sofa-table that holds framed photos of her grand kids – and now this quote is directly above it on the wall. How great does this look? I just love it!
