Bacche (it means “children” in Hindi) is the result of the creative endeavors of three people who, along with friends they consulted with over time, were concerned about their Indian roots disappearing over time, and not being accessible to a younger generation in forms applicable to them. Together, they created Bacche and a line of beautiful, vibrant colored clothing that features their culture while appealing to moms and kids alike.
Nevaeh was sent an adorable (and very soft) Paisley grapefruit colored dress from Bacche in size 2T. The Paisley is actually a common theme in Indian design and one theory is that it is because the shape resembles the mango fruit which is a fruit close to the Indian heart. Interesting, isn’t it?! Aside from the soft organic cotton, another great feature of this dress is that there’s no tag, making it comfy all around. I love that my daughter can wear this dress and it can spark a conversation with others about the story behind the dress (ahhhh, the beginning of a lifetime of the story behind the dress!)
Right now, you can enter to win a puff cap-sleeved shirt in size 2T for girls over at Natural Mommie and can also check out Natural Mommie’s review of Bacche there too!
