I was sent a toque/hat for my daughter to review which was a perfect item for her since she’s going through a huge hat phase right now. The hat is just adorable and there is a definite care and attention to detail that went into making the hat, just like grandma would.
The way the hat is made, enables it to be a sort of one-size-fits-all hat right now, and something that my daughter can wear now at 16 months and for another year or two at least.
A basic toque is $15 and a toque with flower detail is $18.
Another fabulous item that we were sent to review, and one that has received much love since coming into our home is the Superhero Capes from Oma! Gosh Designs. My son Elijah received a cape in the same style as the one here, except his was purple with orange detail. On the back, just like this picture, his cape has a crest with an “E” featured. I can’t tell you how special a 4 year old boy feels having a Superhero Cape like this.
Prices for these capes start at $30.00. I think a Superhero Cape, customized with a child’s first initial, is a fabulous idea for birthdays and something that will spark imaginative play far longer than a plastic toy that is soon forgotten.
