Aside from their beautiful blankets which really are the signature item of their company (in my opinion anyway, they really stand out) they also make a great selection of shopping cart/highchair covers. We were fortunate to be able to choose our own design to review!
After consulting with my husband (no, really, I was having such a hard time deciding that I needed to bring in reinforcements) I decided on the Cocoa Sky Dot design. The reasoning being that, of them all, it was a good gender neutral design and something that could be used with more than one baby (should, someday, Nevaeh have a little brother waaaaaay down the road, don’t you dare start asking me pregnancy questions people!)
I have to admit, before Patricia Ann Designs put the suggestion in my head after seeing this picture, it had never occurred to me to use a shopping cart cover in a highchair as well. Yet time and time again, I have been to restaurants that, had Public Health done an inspection of the grime on the highchair the way they look at the kitchen, it would be shut down. How great to have a cover to put in a highchair as well. The design of this cover makes it possible. With other shopping cart covers, they may be too bulky to be useful in a high chair (or bucket swings at the park!) but the size and design of the Patricia Ann Designs shopping cart cover makes it possible. That isn’t to say that the cover isn’t big; it’s large enough to fit the giant shopping carts at Costco!
I liked the added convenience of 2 pockets in the cover to fit my daughter’s cheerios in one, and sippy cup in the other. My baby rides in style with a fashionable cover and snacks on the go!
Of course this shopping cart cover easily goes in the washing machine and dryer, so it can stay bright and cheerful for as long as you own it.
