Nevaeh and I tried out a Monkey Bum Baby Designs headband in Mod Purple. What I immediately liked about this headband, beside the obvious fashionable design, is that the elastic of the headband is only at the back. For younger babies with a soft spot, there’s no concern about pressure from an elastic band near that area at all.
I also liked that the ribbon wasn’t huge, which in the past I’ve noticed can look kind of awkward on a little head.
The ribbon is just the right size for a baby or toddler and the delicate bow finishes everything off nicely. For $4.75 + $1.75 shipping ($2.00 to the US), this is a frugal way to be fashionable this Spring.
The other item we received is a pacifier/toy tie in Purple Princess. Now, we don’t use a pacifier anymore so I wondered how I could use this as a toy tie. Nevaeh, being an exploring toddler, would not be impressed with a toy being clipped to her while she explored the house.
A light bulb went off when we took a recent trip an hour away. She’s always tossing her toys onto the floor of the car so I thought using the toy clip in the car seat might just work.
A simple strategic loop around the arm of her Dora beanie was all it took to make sure Dora wouldn’t hit the floor. It was sort of amusing to watch Nevaeh when she realized she couldn’t toss Dora. 😉
A headband and pacifier/toy clip together makes a great gift. There are so many cute designs to pick from too!
