One thing I absolutely can not stand is the smell of food in the house after it has been cooked and eaten by my family. The dishes are in the dishwasher, the counter is clean, yet I can still smell the remnants of the meal in the house. My other annoyance is, since the windows are shut tight all winter, the stale stuffy smell that a house gets without fresh air through it. My third? Dirty diaper smell that lingers long after the diaper has been tossed in the trash outside.
I am therefore a big fan of air fresheners and the like for my house. It’s a fine line though because I don’t like super strong scents (I get a headache) but I don’t like the scents mentioned above either. I love candles, but they’re dangerous around the kids so I have to ensure they are in a very high spot or wait until they are sleeping to even light them.
I found the perfect solution. Great scent, but not continually overpowering. Glade’s newest product is Sense & Spray. Unlike similar air fresheners that have a timed spray, Sense & Spray only sprays when it detects movement, and then doesn’t spray again for another 30 minutes if it detects movement again after this point.
When I received my Sense & Spray from Glade in Clean Linen scent to try, I debated where to put it. I didn’t want to put it in a high traffic area because then it would spray every 30 mins and that might be too much for me. So, I decided a shelf in the bathroom off our play area was a good spot. It’s been in our house for 2 days now and I like it! Upon walking into the bathroom, it gives a little puff of spray and the area smells great. I was surprised by how far reaching the scent actually is, I could smell it in the play area and upstairs in my kitchen afterwards.
If you need additional scent, you can also push the button on the front of the unit for an instant puff of fragrance. Glade Sense & Spray is available in 4 scents: Clean Linen, Country Garden, Powder Fresh, and Apple Cinnamon.
