georgie tees is a company with a great story of friendship behind the seams. Emily and LeShan were friends first, and business partners later after they found a project where they could create something they loved. The first products they created were maternity t-shirts, drawing from their own experiences when pregnant. Can you imagine being pregnant when maternity clothes consisted of bows, giant polka dots and oh….the mumu dress?! GAH! Thankfully, maternity clothes have come a long way since then, and georgie tees makes maternity clothing hip with their cheeky t-shirts.
With 4 different fit-styles (boyfriend, favorite, layering, and girly) you’re sure to find a style that is close to what you normally wear.
georgie tees are one size fits most, and are designed to fit for your entire pregnancy but are best for months zero to seven. I can appreciate that, because we all know the crazy things that happen in those last 2 months of pregnancy. Some continue on the same belly-growth path and others look like they gain a second baby in those last two months! Ahh glorious motherhood!
I like the “does this shirt make me look fat?” shirt. I mean, really, what better way to just it out there than professing it on your t-shirt. It makes me smile, I like georgie tees humor!
georgie tees also happens to make some pretty cheeky onesies for baby after those 9 months are up! Onesies and t-shirts both go up to 18-24 months.
Right now, georgie tees has a few of their designs on sale for 50% off!
Nevaeh was sent the “I wasn’t born yesterday” onesie for us to review, in pink with brown writing (yes, it’s easy to match her clothing when I happen to love those two colors together!)
I chose the 18-24 month size, going a bit bigger to ensure it would fit. I also washed the onesie before putting it on her so I could ensure it would fit the ‘true’ way. It does not appear to have shrunk in the wash or dryer much, if at all.
Nevaeh will be able to wear this onesie for quite awhile, as there is still a lot of room in it. You can sort of tell from the picture, that there’s a lot of room in the length still.
The collar-style allows for easy changing (nothing is more fun than fighting with a squirming mad baby when a shirt gets stuck going over her head!) and the fabric is soft and washes well.
georgie tees has a great giveaway for my readers! 1 lucky reader will have their choice of either 1) A “Make Babies Not War” Maternity tee, or 2) A “Freshly Baked” onesie.
