So if you haven’t learned by now, I’ll tell you here that I am a baby-shoe fanatic! For myself, I’ll shlep around in shoes that are not very good for my own feet, but for my babies? Only the best! I love all the choices out there for baby, toddler, and preschoolers, and I love companies that really pay attention to growing feet.
My Shoes by Jack & Lily stand out because of their fashion-forward style. I adore the Jack & Lily My Shoes Mary Jane styles for girls. Some shoe companies only have 1 or 2 colors in a shoe style like this but Jack & Lily have a whole page to drool over. For little boys, Jack & Lily has a great selection of loafer-style shoes that would look adorable with a pair of jeans or corduroy pants this season!
Jack & Lily generously offered me a pair of shoes for Nevaeh to review (she has such a selective style at 1 year old…wink). Knowing my love of brown and pink, I bet it is no surprise that I chose the Heart/Chocolate shoe that I did! The packaging of Jack & Lily shoes is worth mentioning, a sturdy little box with a handle in the top (perfect for gift giving). The first thing I did upon opening the box was to bend the sole! I had to know if the sole really was as soft and flexible as experts recommend and it really is. I know that when Nevaeh wears these shoes, her feet are still going to be able to move freely, to bend and form as they should. The straps have some give, which makes them very easy to put on wiggly little feet, but you can also be rest assured that because the straps aren’t cinched down with a buckle, baby won’t have red marks on her feet from the pressure of the straps against them. The straps move with your active baby.
