As part of my participation on the P&G Mom program here in Canada, I get the awesome opportunity to try a huge assortment of Proctor & Gamble products – everything from diapers for the kids to shampoo for me. Growing up, P&G products were always in my household and one brand that always reminds me of my mom is Olay. So, when I was sent a huge supply of Olay Total Effects products, it naturally made me think of my mom – even more so when I looked in the mirror at 36 (tomorrow!) years of age and realized how my skin is a product of my genetics. If Olay has been my mom’s product of choice all these years, I was open to trying out the Total Effects product line for myself. It’s time (sigh.)

I’ve become quite a fan of all these products and it’s hard to pick a favorite of the five as they all perform very well! I’d have to say that the Olay Total Effects Daily Anti-Aging UV Moisturizer Plus Touch of Foundation Cream is my one go-to product daily from this group. I love that it’s a moisturizer with just a touch of foundation because often times while moisturizing in the mornings is a must (otherwise my skin gets incredibly itchy in this dry winter air), I often don’t put on foundation unless I’m actually going somewhere other than school drop-off. This product gives me just a subtle touch of foundation – a little pick me up if you will – and it happens to smell great which I love too.
