Birthday Gift Giving Made Easy at Indigo Kids

I love when I discover that a place I already shop has done something to make my experience even better.  I’m loyal to companies that are good to their customers, have good prices and, especially when shopping online, has great shipping prices.  Chapters Indigo is one of those places that I come back to again and again for those reasons.

Now, Indigo Kids has earned even more love from me after I learned how easy it is to shop for age-appropriate birthday gifts online and in store.  I love finding places that I can use my gift cards (which by the way, did you know you can buy and sell gift cards online too?)

While shopping for my own kids is easy because I know what they’re interested in (and have likely been reminded over and over what they really really want and seemingly can’t live without!) I sometimes run into a wall when shopping for other kids – especially those that are not the same age as my own.  What exactly are 8 year old girls into?  Is a toy train appropriate for a 4 year old boy or is he too old for that now?

Indigo Kids has age-perfect gifts ready to go both in store and online – some gifts in store are already wrapped and ready for you (how awesome is that for busy moms?) and of course when shopping online you know you’re not going to get hit with insane shipping charges because shipping is free once you spend $25.

Everleigh (my baby!!) is turning 1 in a few weeks (I can’t believe it myself).  I checked out what Indigo Kids had as recommendations for 1 year old kids and used that to guide me in my purchases online for her.  I picked two of the suggestions shared – a Shape Sorting Tube by Melissa & Doug ($19.95) and a touch and feel book called F is for Farm ($12.30).  I know my soon to be 1 year old is going to love both items – she is constantly in my kitchen drawers sorting (and dumping) and she loves touch and feel books – these are both definite winners for this age group.

Since I reached $25 with these two items and therefore had free shipping I shopped around other areas at Indigo Kids and found some other items to add to my order.  I picked out a pair of Robeez for Everleigh as well (I love that Indigo Kids has Robeez!) and Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax for my older 2 kids.

All the items I found arrived at my door in less than a week and I was kept up to date every step of the way with emails from Chapters Indigo.

With 3 kids and living over an hour away from the closest Indigo Kids location, online shopping is definitely my preference and now one of my favorite online stores has given me one more reason to love them.  Great selection, free shipping on orders over $25, gift wrap options, and now great gift ideas for children organized by age from 1-9!  Indigo Kids is a definite go-to for gift giving, and with great prices and selection you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to do it either.
