M&M Meat Shops $50 Gift Card Giveaway

We’re running out of room in our freezers.  Yes plural.  Instead of having one large deep freeze we have 3 smaller ones which is just not at all the same.  My freezers are full, though, because when I find a good deal I stock up (like a frugal mama should!)  I could leave it at that and explain that my freezers are full because I am just that price savvy, but the truth is that I also keep my freezers full because I like go-to meals that are easy to make, especially when we are on the go in the summer months and I don’t have the time to make meals like I do during the school year (ironic, isn’t it?)

I was sent an M&M Meat Shops gift card so I could check out some of their newest items (and some old favorites!) this summer.  A new item from M&M Meat Shops is the Montreal Style Griller Steaks – they’re the perfect serving size (we’re really bad with serving sizes) and packed in 2’s.  My husband and I had these the other night (the kids had hot dogs, ha!) and I was impressed with the flavor.  Sometimes when we have pre-seasoned steaks the seasoning isn’t very strong and they taste too “beefy”, but these had a great flavor.

We paired up the steaks with a yummy side dish I discovered on my shopping trip – Green Bean Supreme Side!  Sure, you could whip up a yummy casserole like this but half the problem is having the ingredients on hand to make it!  This side dish goes right in the oven in the container it comes in for 45 minutes.  I love veggie casseroles or vegetables in general so this was a winner for me.  The kids liked it because of the creamy mushroom sauce.  My husband?  Well, he ate his portion like a good dad should (children watch what’s on your plates, people!) even though he’s  not much of a cooked-veggie fan.

Other summer favorites of ours from M&M Meat Shops include Seasoned Teriyaki Beef Kabobs and Bacon Wrapped Top Sirloin Steak.
