Little Tikes Bright ‘n Bold Toy Chest

Why is it that every time a pregnant woman starts organizing or cleaning, it’s nesting?  What if you’re not pregnant and just feel like cleaning or organizing, hmm?  Whatever the case may be, I’ve been eager to get this house well organized in the new year.  Yes, baby’s arrival this spring is a big influence but more than anything, clutter drives me mental and I’ve been on a mission to get rid of it.   We’ve donated a ton of household goods and toys in the past few months – but what do we do with what’s left?  The toy room most definitely needed some organizational help, but without the right storage I was left going in circles.

Little Tikes StorageUp until now we have not had an actual toy storage chest, so I thought it was time!  When I saw the Little Tikes Bright ‘n Bold Toy Chest I knew this would be a great solution to our “piled-up and over-stuffed” toy issue we were having.  We had storage bins here and there but they were much too small and easily overfilled.  The toy chest holds 6 cubic feet of toy storage and even comes with two smaller bins at the bottom to store smaller toys (you know, the ones that inevitably end up at the bottom of other toy chests!)  The lid itself is detachable (my son thought it was broken the first time it came off, lol) which is a great safety feature.

Everything is easily reachable by Nevaeh who’s 3, and because it’s made of durable plastic, toys can get tossed in without worry of damaging it at all (which works well when mom is on a cleaning rampage!)
