The bebePOD Boost by Prince Lionheart is only available in Canada (isn’t that cool?) and is a universal seat and feeding chair that can be used from 3 months to 3 years. Basically, the bebePOD by Prince Lionheart eliminates the need to buy 2 separate products for your growing baby – instead they opt to help you be more efficient (and frugal!) by giving you both products in one.
The bebePOD Boost is first useful as a stationery seating chair for babies 3 months and up, using the ergonomically designed soft foam seat. At about 3 months, babies are able to hold their head up quite well, but are unable to sit unassisted. This seat is perfect for keeping baby happy in a seating position, while allowing mom and dad to have their hands free.
When my daughter was an infant I bought JUST a foam seat for about the same price as the bebePOD, but that’s all it was useful for – sitting. Once she was able to sit on her own and roam, the seat became rather useless and I ended up selling it to a friend. The bebePOD Boost is useful beyond that stage for so much more and is a much better investment.
Once baby has mastered sitting on her own, the bebePOD Boost is perfect as a mealtime seat. It comes with straps so that you can either feed baby while sitting on the floor or at the dinner table (my other seat did not come with straps!). The easily attachable tray makes meal time a snap. When baby’s done, simply bring out the toy attachment (yes, it comes WITH the toy attachment, no extras to buy!) and baby can happily play while everyone else finishes their meal.
The bebePOD Boost can later be used as a basic booster seat for toddlers, up to age 3. Nevaeh is turning 3 in a few months but she’s still able to sit comfortably in this chair.
