Halo Technical Comfort System

Halo, creators of the very popular (and very important) Halo SleepSack, have a new product in their collection that parents are going to love.  If you have an infant or child that suffers from eczema, you know how important quality, breathable clothing is to ensuring your little one’s skin stays rash-free.

Halo PJ SetI first heard of the Halo Technical Comfort System when my cousin was visiting and had the two-piece set on her little guy who was just under a year at the time.  Nicholas has eczema and his mom knew that keeping breathable fabrics on his skin (especially for 10 hours at night!) is very important (polyester is the enemy of parents with eczema-prone children!!)

The treasure of this system is the innovative CoolMax fabric that the clothing is made of.  CoolMax is lightweight and breathable – two  very important features for children with eczema.  It works by drawing moisture away from the skin and allowing fresh air to circulate keeping the skin cool and dry.  These qualities help keep babies warm in cooler weather and cool in warmer weather so it can be worn year-round.

Another great feature is that it has a built-in SPF factor of 30+, so it’s perfect for outdoor wear as well (my kids are always playing outside in the backyard after breakfast in their PJ’s!)

Halo Technical Comfort 2 Piece Systems are available in sizes ranging from 0-3 months up to 24 months.  Since my daughter is over 24 months, Halo sent a 2-piece set to my cousin’s little guy since I knew they were already fans!  The grey 2-piece is the one they already had, in 12 months.  The 2-piece in blue below is the new set Halo sent in 18 months.  It’s a little big on 1 year old Nicholas right now but he will have plenty of time to wear it and grow into it.

Mommy Lori says she likes that the colors are bright and vivid (and says they wash really well too!), and thinks they are perfect for summer wear at home (staying cool) and even camping (staying warm).  She is a big fan of the Halo Technical Comfort system and says she’d buy it as a gift for other children, and would definitely purchase it again for another baby someday.  After seeing the outfit on her little guy when they visited, she had me sold already!

Halo is offering the opportunity for one of my readers to win a Halo Technical Comfort 2 Piece System!  To enter, visit Halo and leave me a comment here telling me which color and size you would pick if you won.
