As a kid, Hasbro Operation was always a game I wanted to play (never owned it, myself) but yet when given the opportunity it gave me the stress sweats! I didn’t have a future as a doctor ahead of me, or in any career needing fine motor skills, as it turns out.
Operation Pet Scan Board Game is a game I can definitely get behind. I mean, not behind. Because that’s where things come out in this game…

Uh-Oh! Cavity Sam’s dog, Rex-Ray, has eaten a bunch of things he shouldn’t have like homework, socks, bunny slippers, and a dog bone. Players try to help him feel better by removing them. Drop an ailment into the dog’s mouth and use the magnetic Dog-o-scope to guide it along his belly — hoping it’ll come out his tail end. But watch out for the buzz! If the buzzer sounds, the ailment drops. If it falls out of his belly, that player’s turn is over. Each ailment successfully removed counts as a point and whoever has the most points wins. Kids will be entertained throughout the game with fun sound effects. Press and hold the pup’s nose to hear an instant bark and fart sounds.

Look for Operation Pet Scan at ToysRUs.ca ($24.99), Indigo.ca ($24.99), CanadianTire.ca ($24.99) and Walmart.ca ($18.67).

My kids love their original Operation! I’m too much of a nervous wreck so I don’t play with them – I don’t have steady hands, and I have bad nerves with the loud buzzer! They’d love the dog one – it’s too cute (love that he has eaten homework haha), and my youngest especially would love where everything comes out.
I have good memories of playing with the original version. Could all the parts be the same in a dog?
My daughter would love this game.

This one sure is different from the original, but for some reason this is one of the top 5 gifts my granddaughter so badly wants, she thinks it’s going t be fun threading food through the dog
