Elizabeth is OBSESSED with phones. Be it a cell phone or a landline, if there is a telephone within arms reach, she’s grabbing it, saying “hello hello hello” loudly and hoping for a response from a friend on the other end. She was so excited when she saw the Chatter Telephone from Fisher-Price!
I absolutely love watching Elizabeth’s imagination at work while she plays with her little telephone! I can see her little mind running one hundred miles a minute as she pretends to have a full blown conversation with someone on the other end. The rotary dial keeps her happy for ages as she pretends to dial – she loves the sound it makes as it spins round and round! As she gets a little older we will be able to use the labels on the dial as a fun way to practice her numbers! When she grabs the cord and drags the Fisher-Price Chatter Telephone along behind her, it makes even more fun sounds as the eyes on it’s friendly little face move up and down.
This iconic Fisher-Price toy has been a family favourite since 1961, and it is easy to see why! There is endless make believe fun to be had as your little one chatters away with their friends on the other end of the line! I highly recommend giving Santa a call and requesting that he brings this toy to your house on Christmas Eve!

I love Fisher Price toys. I see them coming back in stores, battery operated. We still have ours from way back. We did have that phone also
Oh, this brings me right back to my childhood. I loved watching the phones eyes move as I pulled it around behind me and “calling” my aunt to complain about my mom making me take a nap.
I had one as a little girl and used to talk to my imaginary friend on it!

I had this toy at my grandparent’s house as a child! I remember pulling it everywhere I went!
I don’t think I had this toy but do remember neighbor kids that had it, but I did make sure I got this for me son when he was little and it was a favorite of his …..held on to it and eventually our granddaughter got to enjoy it as well!
I just loved the chatterbox phone. My children and I had many happy memories of long silly conversations.
I remember playing with this at school in kindergarten. It was so much fun.
I remember all the little kids in my family had this toy!
I had one as a little girl and my girls had one, and now their children can have one, these will be around forever and Fisher-price is a great name!
This was my favourite as a kid. I played with it at home, at daycare and was especially excited when I found it in the doctor or dentists office toy bin. Thanks!

I bought this phone for my nephew when he was a baby and he loved it.

My Grandma still has my uncles from when he was little. It’s been played with so much!
Loved having one as a child. I remember my younger brother stays dragging it behind him while he was walking.
I love this Fisher price phone, my kids grew up with them, anyone I knew had one and I love it that they still make these, my son was always calling grandma on his phone so cute
I totally had the classic Fisher Price Chatter Telephone when I was a kid – loved it!! My mom saved it and my oldest daughter played with it too, but when my mom moved she got rid of a lot of stuff and we don’t have it any more. 🙁

I really don’t have any memories of a chatterphone, but I now we had one because there are pictures haha. My little one loves to chat and pretends everything is a phone.
I had the original version of this phone as a kid and I loved it! Sawyer likes to pick up all kinds of toys and hold them to his ear and say, “Hi? Hi!” which I find hilarious because we never talk on the phone and I have no idea where he learned it! Lol.
I didn’t have one but my children sure did. They loved picking it up and chatting away.

The Chatterbox phone was one of my first toys. I loved pretending to chat with my brother and parents. It was fun to give my kids one when they were little and seem them do the same thing!
I remember my siblings playing with this chatterbox, it’s great for our baby & educational for my 2 older kids who have no idea what even a landline is 😀

The fisher price phone was one of mine and my cousins favourites. We used to play with it for hours! At Christmas we used to pretend we were calling Santa.
I remember playing with a blue and white Fisher Price phone with my little brother, we had so much fun calling each other..oh my the old rotary style, I love it!
We had this growing up! Was made of wood at first!! (Is that giving away my age?) Hahahah
By the time my brother came along in 1985 it was heavy plastic.

Sadly I never owned one but my cousin did and whenever I went over we would play together but I certainly wished I had one. I think my kids would love it!

My sisters both had one, not sure if I had one, but I recall them dragging that thing all over the place… there is big age differences between us lol, i’m born 64, they’re 72 and 82… so I can remember what they did ,not what I did lol
