Fisher-Price Corn Popper

By Brittany Caffet

Chances are, you had a Fisher-Price Corn Popper when you were growing up. Heck, your parents probably had one too! Maybe your grandparents… alright that last one might be pushing it, but this beloved toy has been delighting children for over 60 years! It might look a little bit different than you remember it, but it’s still just as much fun for kids!

The multicoloured balls bounce around inside the clear dome as your little one pushes this toy across the floor! The faster baby runs, the faster they pop! The exciting sights and sounds of the balls jumping up and down encourage your child to keep moving, helping them get in some extra practice walking and running!

Elizabeth loves this toy, but isn’t ready to play with it independently yet. Right now she prefers to chase my husband and I around as we push it or bang it on the ground to make the balls bounce! The more we play with it the more comfortable she becomes, so I’m sure I’ll hear corn popping from down the hall in no time! In the meantime, I am more than happy to spend a few minutes every day reliving my youth and playing with her!

You really can’t go wrong with a classic toy. There is clearly a reason that parents have been choosing the Fisher-Price Corn Popper for over half a century… IT’S SO MUCH FUN!

Look for the Fisher Price Corn Popper at Toys R Us ($15.99), Chapters Indigo ($14.95), and Walmart ($15).
