Superstart Your Beauty Routine

New year, new goals, new intentions and new…skin care?

I love a fresh start. Whether we take that step January 1st, the first of any month, or maybe any random Monday. It’s nice to focus (my ‘theme’ for 2018) and start with a plan, whether it’s your diet, workout routine or even beauty routine.

Thanks to a generous gift of Elizabeth Arden and Prevage skin care items at the beginning of January, I have more than enough new products to give this product line my full focus. My first two products include Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster and PREVAGE Anti-Aging Daily Serum. Here’s some info about both:

Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster ($88) provides daily support to the surface layer of the skin, to help boost its natural defenses and ability to renew itself, while ultimately optimizing the results of the entire skincare regimen. Used before a serum or moisturizer, SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster’s ultra-lightweight, fast-absorbing formula is clinically proven to restore the healthy appearaance of the surface layer for supple, smooth, more radiant-looking skin.

PREVAGE Anti-Aging Daily Serum ($210) is an innovative treatment that minimizes the look of fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage, while increasing firmness and radiance. It is formulated with antioxidants, including Bamboo Isoflavones to shield skin from free radical assaults, Lipochroman-6 to maintain lipids in the skin’s moisture barrier, and a Green Tea Blend to provide anti-irritant benefits.

These two products are my base for skincare going forward in 2018. Elizabeth Arden SUPESTART Skin Rewnewal Booster goes on first – consider it the base layer and booster for all your other skincare products. Then, once it’s absorbed in minutes, I use PREVAGE Anti-Aging Daily Serum as the ‘start’ to my day. The color, even on my hand before application on my face, is a light, bright yellow hue, which in turn does its work to give my face a bright appearance all over. I love it!

Of course, there are many more amazing products from Elizabeth Arden and PREVAGE that have been creating huge buzz because of their amazing benefits. Reese Witherspoon has signed on as the Storyteller In Chief for Elizabeth Arden and you’ll notice her more and more this year in print and television ads sharing info too!

When thinking about new beginnings, a new year, or a new season even – does skin care become a part of the picture? Maybe it’s time to change things up and try something new – or perhaps start really paying attention to your skin in 2018!

  • I’ve been more diligent with my skin routine then I have in the past. When I joined my gym and got a routine to follow I told the trainer it’s my “New Beginnings” so every time he sees me exercising at gym he says New Beginnings.

  • I feel so much better about myself when I put some effort in for self-care, particularly skin and hair care. Thank you for this post! All the best in 2018 🙂

  • I am paying a lot of attention to my skin care. I have the Prevage anti- aging daily serum by Elizabeth Arden.

  • Sounds like a great product. Unfortunately I have allergies and have yet to find a cleaner that either doesn’t totally dry my face or gives me hives. I can use a moisturizer 2 or 3 times a week. I know I’m allergic to mineral oil and something else.

  • I love Elizabeth Arden ! I have never tried Prevage before. The Anti-Aging Daily Serum definitely sounds like a product my skin could use. I really need to start taking care of my skin more

  • I’m trying the Prevage anti aging serum this year thanks to a win in late December. I’m loving this product but not the price.

  • My only skin routine is soap and water and Jergens moisturiser for wet skin after a shower, that’s it. Elizabeth Arden does make quality products, though I’ve not heard of PREVAGE before.

  • I pay more attention to my skin care during the winter months as my skin gets so dry but really I should pay more attention all year

  • I’ve got to be more diligent with my skincare too. I just never have the energy to do masks and exfoliate. But I should make myself do it.

  • wow i would love to try PREVAGE Anti-Aging Daily Serum , sounds like an amazing product , a bit too expensive for me tho ! i really need to be more diligent with my skin care routine !

  • The most I do with my skin care is just plain ole water and wash my face twice a day, in the morning and at night, so far it’s been working for me and no need for any night creams

  • I am finding being more gentle with my skin is paying back big time! I’d also like to try that Prevage, but not at that price….!

  • I found it interesting that there is green tea in the Prevage. I have heard more and more about the benefits of green tea.

  • These sound like well thought out products that would really make a difference. The price point definitely makes them a splurge item for me. Do you find that the bottles last a long time?

  • I always have good intentions but never stick to a routine for some reason, this year I will try because at my age I really need the Anti-Aging Daily Serum!! Really blows to get old/

  • I’m quite good at remembering to use day cream, night cream, and my SPF CC cream. But I’m terrible at remembering to use my serums (and I have a few). So that’s going to be my skincare resolution: use the bloomin’ things.
