Canvas Factory Giveaway

This past fall I rounded up my brood for a good ol’ family photo shoot.  Outfits coordinated, faces clean, hair combed – as moms we know these family photo shoots aren’t as “smiley” as they appear!  We drove to our beautiful university campus to meet the photographer.  The second my 2 year old got out of the vehicle he tripped and fell flat on his face and cut his lip – blood dripping all over his cable knit ivory sweater.  We’re off to a great start!!  (I ended up turning the sweater around, yes, my son is wearing a backwards sweater in our Christmas cards.)

As chaotic as the shoot may sound, we got some beautiful photos out of it.  Our photographer was awesome, and handed me a disk full of amazing images of our little family.  One photo in particular really captured my heart.  It is a stoic shot of my oldest son.  I look at it and can almost see the “man” my little 7 year old will become.  I knew I wanted to do something special with this photo.

I recently headed to canvasfactory.com/ca to see what they had to offer.  There were several options: single canvas prints, canvas split images, wall displays, even collages.   Canvas Factory also offers modern acrylic and aluminum prints.  I felt the best option for my photo was a traditional single canvas print.  I went with a 16”X20” (40X50cm) and the quality of the image is stunning!  Ordering my print was just a few clicks of a mouse.  All I had to do was pick the size, upload the image and select the trim (I went with a “wrap” edging).

The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to what many professional photographers charge for mounting an image (yikes!) *I have since noticed the site also has frequent specials.  Shipping to Canada is capped at a fair rate, and is FREE for orders over a certain amount.
