Regina, we’ve been waiting for it for a long time, and it’s finally here! If you’ve driven past the Save-On-Foods location on South Albert over the past few months, you’ve witnessed the building change and grow to welcome this new grocery destination in our city. Actually, Regina will be home to the very first Save-On-Foods location in Saskatchewan! While our neighbors north in Saskatoon and Yorkton will have to wait just a little bit longer, Save-On-Foods is celebrating their grand opening April 2nd, and you’re invited to join in the celebration!

There are so many amazing features that Save-On-Foods customers are going to be able to take advantage of, that one blog post simply won’t do it justice. So, over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing a ton of info about this new Regina business. In fact, the president of Save-On-Foods was so eager to meet his new Regina neighbors that we are part of a commercial airing on CTV starting this week!

Here’s what Regina can look forward to at Save-On-Foods:

    • I love that local items are a part of Save-On-Foods! I got a tweet last night from a local company excited to be included (Prairie Popcorn, yum!)

  • I LOVE the online order and delivery service. Once you order you get money off coupon codes for your next order. I have never placed an order without checking the online mommy group, or my email, for the latest coupon code. And I think they still have your first order as free. When you get to the checkout they automatically deduct the delivery fee on the first order. (At least they used to.) The online shopping isn’t the best for navigating through or browsing. I make a list and search by the item. For example, searching in produce doesn’t bring up as much as just searching say… Tomatoes.

  • We used to love shopping at save-on! It is one of the things I miss about BC. Glad to hear they are expanding into saskatchewan.

  • We have Save-On here in Alberta and it is my favorite grocery store. They have the best produce and a really great natural foods selection. I just redeemed my more reward points for a Winner’s gift card too!

  • you will be so pleased with Save on Foods, My son used to work for them and they are the best a grocery store can be, they carry food items that others to not it like shopping in a Hollywood type store yo are going to love it

  • ones going to be built on the edge of saskatoon, near the walmart so YAY , I won’t have to hazard the horrid roads in the winter time (saskatoon doesn’t like to remove snow, … few years back they ramped it on the bridges so badly that a woman went driving off onto the ice and its been like that since the 80’s when I lived there to go to university)

  • Hi l am wondering if you will allow customers to stack coupons at your store in Regina. Thank you Colleen

  • It looks like an awesome grocery store.I like that they give you any item free if you
can show them a lower price somewhere else. That’s really awesome that they
    guarantee the lowest prices.

  • I was aware that they were testing the same concept in Toronto…online shopping – with time constraints and life being so hectic – feel this trend will definitely take off. Save On has great food – reasonally priced – I am sure that I will at times consider a quick grocery drop off. Price to deliver is cheaper than a taxi – ideal for seniors !

  • I love shopping at Save on Foods. Their shelves are always well stocked and everything is easy to find. In my experience, they also have the freshest produce. I didn’t know they offered online shopping. How cool is that! I will definitely be taking advantage of that once that option is available in my neighborhood! ๐Ÿ™‚
