Jill Yoga For All The Yogis

JILL-LOGOJill Yoga, established in 2012, has my heart because they actually *get* girl’s clothing.

“As a mother of two, I think it is difficult to find children’s clothing lines that are fashion forward, comfortable, affordable and also
wash and wear well”, states Creative Director Nina Snow. “At Jill Yoga, we work really hard to continue to develop a line whether paired together or worn separately, is perfect for any occasion. We really design with every girl in mind

After checking out some of the latest pieces from the 2015 collection, I have no doubt that Jill Yoga gets it. My girls certainly are fans of the clothing, and it passes my test for fashion, wearability and quality. Here’s why.

Jill Yoga review

The brand’s main mission is to promote good health, confidence and active living among young girls. No matter size or ability, Jill Yoga wants girls to feel great in their clothes.

Nevaeh is wearing the Girls Seamless Heathered Shirt ($20) in size S/M paired with the Girls Yoga Legging ($24) in size S.

Recognized as a leader in fashionable yet affordable active wear, the latest collection features the brand’s signature vibrant colours including the introduction of Aruba Blue Space Dye as both a solid and accent colour.

Nevaeh (7) and Everleigh (4) are seen here wearing the Girls Yoga Jacket in Aruba Blue Space Dye ($32) in size 10 and size 5 and Girls Knit Legging ($24) in size 8 and size 4.  I love that the stitching in the pants pulls the color from the jacket, making the outfit come together so well. The pieces, of course, can also be worn separately as well.

Jill Yoga reviewLayering continues to be a top trend which makes the double layer tank available in a variety of colours perfect for any activity.

We love the Girls Double Layer Active Tank ($24) and I hope they make more colors because I’d buy them all! The loose fit and colorful layering makes this perfect for wearing with leggings at the park or on the trampoline.

Jill Yoga reviewJill Yoga strives to show how versatile girls active wear can be. The SS15 Collection proves no matter what activity from yoga and dance to working out and hanging out, Jill Yoga is always the perfect fit!

The Little Girls Zip Up Hoodie ($19.99) seen above is a nice weight french terry hoodie perfect for spring days riding bikes, or shopping with mom. Everleigh is wearing a size 5.

Jill Yoga review

Created with every girl in mind, the brand wants to stress the importance of being active, healthy and confident in your clothes from a young age.

Isn’t that a great brand message, especially considering the messages little girls get from brands that aren’t so healthy and positive? Amen, mamas! Nevaeh is sporting the Girls Racer Back Tank ($20) size S, and my pick for favorite pants – Girls Skinny Jogging Legging ($19.99) size S. The pants fit like leggings but are nice and long and have a heavier texture, perfect for spring days and cooler summer mornings. I know we’ll get a lot of use out of these (good thing they also come in magenta and bluebird colors!)

Jill Yoga review

Jill Yoga is adding Infants (6-24M) and Ladies (S-XL) to its highly anticipated SS15 Collection that already includes Little Girls (2-6) and Girls (7-16). The brand’s sixth collection only reinforces the importance of “Be Active. Be Bold. Be You.”

I was thrilled to learn that Jill Yoga now carries ladies sizes, especially when some of the pieces are replicated from the girl’s line. My outfit above is $80 which is less than what I normally pay for one pair of yoga pants at my usual store! The Ladies Knit Yoga Legging ($45) are super comfy and I love the length! Paired with the Ladies Racer Back Tank ($35) the outfit is perfect for any activity, even romping around with the kids to ham it up for the camera!

Jill Yoga offers free shipping on all orders over $50 which makes shopping easy! If you’ve got a little girl in yoga, gymnastics, or any number of activities that keep our schedules full, check out Jill Yoga!  Keep updated on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter too!
