Kool Aid Play Doh

Kool Aid Play Doh

8 year old: “So can we eat it?”
Me: “Well, no. I mean, it’s non-toxic so I suppose if you wanted to you could. But don’t.”
8 year old: “But if I wanted to, I could eat it right?”
Me: “….(sigh)…Yes.”
And so it goes…

Play Doh is always fun, and even more so when you can whip up your own in less than five minutes. Today, we got creative with Blue Ice and Strawberry Kiwi Kool Aid flavors. They smell delicious, but no – they’re not for eating despite but my 8 year old thinks.

Kool Aid Play Doh

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 packages of Kool-Aid
1 1/2 cups hot water

Stir first 3 ingredients with a fork, adding 1 cup water at first and the additional 1/2 cup as needed. Knead with hands until Play-Doh consistency.

You can use 1 package of Kool-Aid but I find that two gives you a darker color and more yummy scent!
