BabyBjorn, known for their wonderfully comfortable baby carriers by parents everywhere, are introducing two new colors (pink and blue) in one of their products – baby’s first cup – the BabyBjorn Cup! The cups ergonomic design with easy-grip materials and bright attractive colors makes this cup attractive to little ones who are insistent on doing things themselves. In fact, it’s suggested to use it from as early as 8 months of age (which can help parents skip the sippy-cup stage entirely if they want to.)
I checked out a few of these cups myself, and on appearance I liked the soft feel of the plastic used – especially on the rim of the cup. When little ones are learning to drink, a rough plastic edge bonking against a little nose can be frustrating! The wide base is fabulous, making the cup difficult to knock over which will save many a parent the frustration of crying over spilled juice!
Not ready to use it as a cup just yet? The wide mouth of the cup and low center of gravity make it useful as a first feeding bowl as well (clever!) The cups contain no BPA or phthalates and are both microwave and dishwasher safe.

Looks like a great cup to start kids with! My son is doing quite well with a cup, but it’s still handier to have a sippy cup around the house for him to drink from, but he sure does think cups are cool! 🙂

i would LOVE to win one of these because my irish twins are into doing everything like mommy and daddy. they both use big kid cups, but they knock them over all the time…think these cups would totally help!
