Galstanberry Girlz is a brand new book series – actually the very first book in this series is set to be released today, October 11, 2010! Written by Garen S. Wolfe, The Girlz of Galstanberry is the first in what promises to be a compelling new book series for tweens. Targeted to girls ages 9-11 (and grades 4th – 8th), The Girlz of Galstanberry takes a look at the intricate and diverse lives of 5 girls who attend Galstanberry Girls Academy. Each girl is from a different location, with a different family background and of course a different story to share.
Author Garen S. Wolfe herself attended a private school from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, and says she drew on her own experiences as well as imagination of course, to create the characters and story. Wolfe wears many hats, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University and teaches an undergraduate mathematics course.
