Designer friends are the best. Not only are they a great resource when your 2.5 year old daughter paints your area rug in fire engine red nail polish, but they’re also great at wine drinking AND keeping you up to date on the latest trends in home design.
And one of the most surprising kitchen trends these last few months has been the inclusion of built in steam ovens in brand new kitchens.
I’m sorry, but no.
I need my Breville Microwave and Breville Toaster oven at the ready. I have no room for a built in steam oven.
What I do have room for (or will be MAKING room for) is The Steam Zone appliance by Breville.
Speaking of steamed fish, with an extra long 16″ steaming surface, you can do just that. Or, if your feeding an army, preparing perfectly steamed veggies for the whole crew is as easy as set it and forget it.
But for me? The deliciousness is in the details. The Steam Zone by Breville has incorporated brilliant features no other brand would think of. Like the ability to stream two different dishes at the same time at different temperatures. Say you had delicate dumplings and hard boiled eggs. The dumplings could be steamed for 7 minutes on low, while the eggs would be cooked at 15 on high. At the same time.
And? With Breville Synch Finish Technology? You put those eggs and dumplings in at the same time and voila! They’ll be finished cooking at the exact same time.
One more thing? Breville incorporated a finger loop into the plug AND YOU WOULDN’T THINK THAT SUCH A TINY THING WOULD MAKE ME. WOOZY WITH SMART DESIGN, YET HERE I AM, PEOPLE. WOOZING.
Truly. Listen to your not a designer but still knows a thing or two friend Lise when it comes to practical efficient design: The Steam Zone by Breville is worth every single dollar.
