Introducing Lottie Dolls

By Lise Merle

Is it too much to ask that dolls not have proportions similar to some of the more commercially successful Kardashians?

(Full disclosure: I love the Kardashians. It’s become a long-shot goal of mine to be adopted by Kris Kenner. I would change my name to Kadence. Or Karlie. Or Kathy Kee Kifford, if that’s what it took.)

But like I was saying. *I* love the Kardashians. I do not expose my growing littles to them. Or their sheer tops with no bras. Or their photo shoots. Or any of the “lewks” they carefully curate to be “caught unawares by the paparazzi” slinking out of Calabasas’ finer eateries.

Because kids are little for such a short period of time, why are other dolls so insistent they grow up so fast?

Enter Lottie Dolls.

Lottie Dolls manufacturer, Arklu, worked with kids, parents, retailers, industry experts, child psychologists and nutritionists for nearly 2 years to develop Lottie Dolls with the goal of protecting childhood and stop forcing our kids to grow up too soon.

CAN I GET AN AMEN?

First, Lottie Dolls don’t look like the Kardashians. They look like an average 9 year old who doesn’t wear jewelry, make up or high heels.

Also? They stand. Like, on their own, without anything propping them up. Which is important in life as it is to a doll.

Lotties are also ethnically diverse meaning we don’t have to limit our playtime to a row of interchangeable buxom blue eyed blondes because the world isn’t limited to buxom blue eyed blondes.

Honestly they’re the cutest dolls – with adorable outfits (made of actual fabric) which can be purchased separately, and accessories like Shetland Ponies (SQUEEEEE!) Lottie Dolls are fun and affordable, too. Comparable to other, more mature dolls, Lottie Dolls offer a lot of value considering what they’re saving.

The innocence of childhood.

At least for a while.
