New Pampers Baby Dry Pass The Ultimate Test: Parents!

Earlier this month I put a call out to parents to check out and review the latest in innovation from Pampers Baby Dry Diapers. New and improved Pampers Baby Dry, on shelves now in size 5 and size 6 only (more sizes will be released later this summer), offer parents a better night’s sleep because baby won’t be continually waking up from wetness. Research shows babies’ skin can sense wetness, acting as little “alarm clocks” that can potentially wake them from a peaceful sleep and parents know this all too well (we could have told researchers that without the study, right?)

If you’re already a fan of Pampers Swaddlers (ohhhh my heavens those were my favorite!) or Pampers Cruisers, this is news you’ll be happy to hear: Pampers is proud to share that Baby Dry diapers will now have the same Extra Absorb Channels that exist on Swaddlers and Cruisers. So now Pampers Baby Dry is thinner and drier* for superior overnight protection and comfort. This also makes Pampers the first brand to offer this innovation on our entire line of diapers.

Here’s what’s new about Pampers Baby Dry Diapers:

New Look, Same Protection: Pampers Baby Dry diapers are now enhanced with Extra Absorb Channels yet it is the same diaper you have come to trust to give you and your baby up to 12 hours of overnight protection.

A Thicker Diaper Is Not A Better Diaper: Pampers Baby Dry is thinner, which allows for a more comfortable fit while Pampers exclusive thick-to-thin technology distributes wetness evenly and locks it away so babies are even drier than before. Unlike ordinary diapers with two layers, Pampers has three absorbent layers to stay up to 3x drier, pulling liquid away, so babies can sleep soundly all night.

They’ve Researched This: Pampers diapers undergo extensive testing with pediatricians, dermatologists and moms to ensure products meet and exceed the needs of their most important customers – babies.

Stretchy Sides: All around stretchy sides for a comfortable fit

Wetness Indicator: Lets you know when your baby might need a change

Soft like cotton: A soft touch to give your baby all-around comfort

Pampers were sent out to 20 lucky parents and the reviews have been really good! Parents are assertive about what works and what doesn’t, and for full disclosure 2 parents had a negative comment – one felt the scent was overpowering (as I mentioned in my previous post, I love that Pampers scent but some parents may not) and another parent felt that the tabs were too small. However, both these parents overall liked the new Pampers Baby Dry!

Now, for the rave reviews! Here’s what just a sampling of my reviewers had to say:

As an added incentive for our reviewers, I also had two $50 Visa Gift Cards set aside in a draw for the reviewers. Congratulations to Patrick and Lindsay on your gift card win! I already have your addresses, so your gift cards will be in the mail soon!

NOW, the big news for everyone else!

To help spread the news about this awesome new Pampers innovation, we’re hoping to spark discussion right here! Looking over all the great features of new Pampers Baby Dry, and reading the reviews submitted by some of the my reviewers, I’m curious on what YOU’RE most excited about? Perhaps you’re a new mom, a seasoned mom (as a mom of 3 I giggled when that term was used for me, I said I’m salty not seasoned!) or maybe you’re a grandparent or aunt and have your own experience with diapers this way. Join in the discussion and you could win. What, you ask?

I’ve got 10 (!!!) $100 Amazon.ca Gift Cards set aside for 10 lucky readers! How awesome is that? Use them to pick up Pampers of course, and maybe some extra baby-care items, or maybe a summer book for you when baby is resting. I love paying it forward and this partnership with Pampers allows me to do so in such a great way, hooray!

  • The thinner and clearly more efficient absorbent layers because it’s easier for them to move around and have fun (or drive grown ups crazy). 🙂

  • We love Pampers Baby Dry. Anything that keeps baby dry and gets us all more sleep is much appreciated!

  • I like the wetness indicator, and the fact that the diapers are thinner. Gotta love advances in technology.

  • oh how I wish these had been available when we were still using diapers but thankfully, we are just past that stage now! (wohoo!) I will definitely be glad to remember this when sharing with my nieces and nephews though 🙂

  • I love thats its thinner , but drier ! Thats great ! Bulky bum is no fun ! I love pampers , they to me have always been my brand to use , hands down !

  • I am most excited to see how thin they are – we travel a lot, so I am very interested in using the thinnest diapers possible to cut down on the room they take up in our bags! I am also interested to see the wetness indicator – when it is so hot in the summer our little one often only sleeps in a diaper, so if the indicator is easy to see it will be handy to know whether or not we need to wake her up for a diaper change, without having to disturb her to check.

  • I love how much thinner the diapers are (compared to the ones when my kids were little). No bulk! Wow.

  • I like that these Pamper diapers are thinner yet still absorbent. I dislike the droopy diaper look when my babe has gone to the bathroom. I also like that the diaper is well-suited for little movers. My girl has been having some leakage lately, and I think it is because she is getting more active and the diaper can’t keep up with her. Thanks for the reviews.

  • I think the thinness of a diaper and the softness would add to the comfort of the baby and of course the dryness.

  • I like that the new diapers are thinner. The bulky ones are not as comfortable for the toddlers. I also like that all the sides are stretchy, again for a better fit.

  • i think if my kids were still in diapers it would have to be the cotton softness I would be most excited for, especially with summer coming up and naked babies everywhere.

  • Pampers Baby Dry i’m most excited to see Pampers that keeps Baby Dryer and thinner diapers for better fit!

  • I think it’s awesome that they’re thinner, they have stretchy sides for a comfortable fit, they also have Wetness Indicator; how cool is that but most importantly they feel like cotton which is all about keeping the babies tushy comfortable.

  • I love using Pampers and that is all my granddaughter uses, but I don’t agree with everyone else about the baby dry diapers, I find them to then and they leak terrible, I can’t see why everyone else loves them so much, I tried them and had a whole package and was not happy with them at all..sorry, but I will stick with the Pampers Cruisers, my opinion anyways

  • I like that it has a wetness indicator. Makes it so much easier for me as a Mom to check my baby.

  • I am most excited to see the channels, thinness and third layer for more absorbant Pampers Baby Dry! A dry baby is a happy baby.

  • I’m excited to see how absorbent these diapers are and how they will allow baby to sleep without waking as they won’t feel the wetness thanks to all the absorbent channels. I also like the feature of the wetness indicator. What a great idea!

  • I was one of the people who were able to review the new Pampers Baby Dry Diapers and oh my goodness they are amazing!! seriously nothing compares. the fact that i had no accidents with my little one is huge! and love the wetness indicator

  • I appreciate that they have improves the softness of the diapers. Of course staying dry overnight is important so I am pleased to read and looking forward to trying out these new improved diapers from our favourite brand!

  • I like that these new pampers are thinner! The Wet strip indicator is really helpful, especially during nap time.

  • We made the switch to baby dry just over a month ago. Mainly because of price. I have been happy with the quality and now I am so excited to use the improved version! I have always chose to use pampers because of the absorb channels and am over the moon now that baby dry will have them too! My tall but chubby girly s just the right fit for pampers. I am ecstatic that they keep up on technology and keep delivering a great product!

  • I am excited to see that the design is thinner and more comfortable. It is amazing to see how much the technology has improved in this department! Go Pampers Go!

  • Love the it is now a thinner diaper that still has excellent absorbency. Thinner mean it is not as bulky under clothes and more comfy for baby.

  • I’m expecting my first baby in September and I have a confession – I’ve never changed a diaper!!! I’m so nervous, haha. I love the wetness indicator – that seems super handy! Thanks for the chance to win, would love to be able to stock up on diapers before baby arrives! 🙂

  • I am excited about the thick to thin technology. Keeping wetness away means a happy bum (diaper rash can be awful.)

  • I would love to see the new design. We loved Pampers anyway, but after some years in the same designs would be nice to see something new.

  • I love that the new Pampers Baby Dry is thinner and drier for better all around protection, especially at night.

  • the thinner factor sounds great. I cant help but put myself in babies um.. booties.. when i am diapering and watching and think what i would find comfortable. also i can only compare it to maxi pads. thin is best.

  • I love how the new Pampers are thinner without compromising their absorbing abilities, way to go Pampers!!!

  • I love that they are thinner and that they have a wetness indicator! Wow Pampers have come a long way in the past 17 years

  • I definitely love the new thin design. Even when cloth diapering always looked like a load lol. Love how easier thin ones are as well to use and store also. Important to be thin and feel more like underwear as well.

  • Love that they are thinner and have a wetness indicator. And I’m sure the babies like them too LOL 🙂

  • I like the thinner design of the new Pampers. I remember the old diapers I had for my kids and often the clothes would not fit over them because of the bulkiness. That would not be a problem with this new design.

  • I love that the new Pampers Baby Dry are thinner and will last overnight. I used only Pampers with both of my babies & I loved them. There is not a better diaper out there.

  • I love that there is a wetness indicator, because it will tell my husband it’s time to change a diaper, so that I don’t have to. haha. What a great invention this is. The fact that they are thinner makes our diaper bag lighter too! Pampers rocks!

  • OMG the wetness indicator rocks so I don’t have to be checking all the time how wet my baby is. I wont’ have to undo her diaper just to see.

  • We have always used pampers dry, I’m excited to see the new improvements. No mom wants their baby in a wet diaper.

  • I love that it has the same absorbent channels as the the cruisers! This is a huge reason why we chose cruisers and swaddlers over baby dry as baby dry wasn’t as effective! So happy they have them now, also love the wetness indication and that it’s thinner! It certainly helps not having a huge bulky diaper when it gets full! Can you tell I’m excited about them? Lol

  • I like how they are thing now. My daughter is wearing shorts for summer (which are quite short!) and a thinner diaper would help so it won’t hang out her shorts.

  • I have used Pampers with all of my kiddos – one still in diapers! They have been the best for us as they are super absorbent without the extra bulk! I can’t believe they can do it, but I’m looking forward to the new, even less bulky Baby Dry! Thanks so much 😀

  • The thin to thick technology. I hate bulky diapers. I also like the stretch factor. My little guy has a big tummy so the little extra give would help!

  • We all want comfort so it’s wonderful to see Pampers is creating diapers that feel soft as cotton! Especially wearing them all day & night it’s so important for baby to not be irritated. And the thin design will also help keep baby happier, too!

  • I’m so excited for the wetness indicator on the Baby Dry’s. I love the wetness indicator on the Swaddlers because I feel like it helps me not “waste” a diaper by changing it too prematurely. I use Baby Dry’s for overnight sleeps and naps, but sometimes my baby won’t pee during a short nap so now I’ll know not to change her diaper right away.

  • We are a Pampers family and have loved their diapers for our children and now my grandchildren are wearing them too.I think these Pampers Baby Dry sound amazing and I am most excited to see that they have a wetness indicator. The new thiness and soft as cotton feel ,sounds like an amazing innovative idea.I am sure they will be awesome and baby will be so comfortable in them!

  • I love the reassurance that Pampers STAY DRY!!!! and that means less changes and less rashes and happier babies and happier parents!!!

  • I found the old baby dry diapers felt “wet” on the outside all the time…im hoping there is a new “fabric” cover…

  • I’m excited that they are thinner and more soft! I always loved the swaddlers for their softness and now am happy to see the Baby Dry get that upgrade as well!

  • The wetness indicator would have been what I needed to keep my baby’s sensitive bottom dry and comfortable.

  • I love that they have wet indicator. This will be very helpful. I also love that it has great absorbency even though it is thinner

  • I don’t have any little children or grandchildren so it’ll be a while till there are Pampers in the house. But I love how much more absorbent they are and will keep baby dry, and sleeping at night.

  • Love the wetness indicator! And who doesn’t want a thinner pad? Wish they’d come up with these years ago ~ but I do have grand-nieces and nephews who will certainly benefit from them. I’ll be sure to spread the word!

  • As a “seasoned” mom myself, I like the fact that the diapers are thinner, allowing easier movement for baby. Sadly I won’t be having another child in the diaper stage but I do appreciate companies that can modify their products and learn from the customer feedback they receive!

  • I really like the way these diapers are thinner and love the wet indicator. No baby likes big bulky diapers.

  • I like that Baby Dry is a thinner diaper, just less bulk and materials that baby has to deal with 😊

  • The thinness is impressive, but I also love the stretchy sides…comfy for the chunkiest of thighs!

  • We’ve used Pampers Baby Dry since my babe was born in August of 2016! We’ve tried others and nothing compares. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up as she gets bigger!

  • I’m excited to see the three absorbent layers so that the baby will sleep throughout the night as the liquid is pulled away to keep them drier

  • As a seasoned mom – I would look forward to the wetness indicator and the fact that they are thinner..

  • Mine don’t have a wetness indicator.. 🙁
I love that they are a thinner design though. My son seems a lot more comfortable.
