Spring Break Day Camps in Regina 2017

Easter is a bit later this year, which means Spring break will combine well, or chaotically, with Spring fever! If you’re in Regina and are looking for some camps to keep the kids occupied, here are this year’s favorites:

Chapters logoCost: Free

Details: Visit Chapters Regina all week at 11am for fun activities and crafts centered around a daily theme. Events last about an hour and bonus – parents can go grab a coffee and browse books while the kids are occupied (though for younger kids I’d recommend not going too far).

Cost: Half-day $42 +GST/day, Full-Day $65 +GST/day

Details: Join Amazing Adventure for fun filled Easter activities including Gymnastics activities, crafts, snack time, games, puzzles and more for kids ages 3-12.

Saskatchewan Science Centre

Cost: 4 day camps are $170 for members and $210 for non-members

Details: The Saskatchewan Science Centre offers Spring Break programming for kids ages 6-11. Groups are divided by age (6-8 and 9-11). Campers experience themed activities and experiments, science demonstrations, award-winning exhibits, an IMAX film and ample time to run around and enjoy a Science Centre experience. The theme for Spring Break 2017 is STEAM Power (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Science, Math).

Bricks 4 Kidz Regina

Cost: Half Day Camp $36.75/day, Full Day Camp $68.25/day

Details: A Bricks 4 Kidz® camp is a fresh and fun way for kids to spend their school break! Children will have fun exploring architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks. With specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz® models, LEGO® games galore, and plenty of time for free-play. Camps are specially designed for children ages 5-11 and are staffed by trained, screened Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers. Campers will work and play with specialized LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, electric motors and more! Appropriate for 5-11 years old.

Cost: Member — $45.00/day, Non-member — $55.00/day

Details: Opportunity to grow in spirit, mind and body. Emphasize fun, physical activity, learning and social development, develop leadership and interpersonal skills and so much more!

Register: Registration can be done in person at the front desk of either YMCA location. Registration can also be taken over the telephone. Payment is due at time of registration to secure a spot. More info can be found at: YMCA School’s Out Day Camps

Cost: Full Week; 9am to 12pm OR 1pm to 4pm (3 hours) –> 4 days: $150 + GST, 5 days: $185 + GST

Details: Flux Regina introduces Circus Camp for kids and teens! A fun filled week for kids. Learn acrobatics, parkour, gymnastics, practice hand balancing and play with Capoeira movements for an entire week! This camp is open for kids from ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 10+.
