Fabulous Frugal Finds Featured

Want to Sample New Products? Introducing brandPACK!

Sharing the details of an upcoming trip with a girlfriend, she commented on how fabulous my life can be. Quick to humble (yes, really!) I explained that there are some pretty fun perks to being a mommy blogger, but that really, I’m just livin’ life, some days with no showers and a disaster of the house too. It’s true, I get to try, experience and achieve some pretty great things, but I’m often finding ways to share with my friends and readers so they too can share in the fun.

This week, I visited Global Regina Morning News and shared some details on my work as a PGMom with Proctor & Gamble. In the segment I explained how my partnership with the PGMom program gives our family the opportunity to try a variety of products every month.

Today, I have some super exciting news to share with my friends and readers! YOU can try products from your favourite P&G brands such as Pampers, Tide and Swiffer. All you have to do is register at pgeveryday.ca, select a bundle and they’ll send you new goodies to try at home! Just pay shipping and taxes, starting at only $4.99.

There’s no review obligation in this program, but of course if you discover something you love and tell your friends, that’s always a good thing. This is a great, low-cost way to try products before investing in a larger size, and it’s also fun to get a little something in the mail too!

While you’re on the site, you can also check out print-at-home coupons for up to $55 in savings on even more great brands. I’m a regular on that site, because coupons are my frugal-shopping secret weapon (along with price-matching and SCOP of course!)

Register for brandPACK today, as product is only available while supplies last! Go, go, go!

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom ambassador. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and compensation. The opinions on this blog are my own.

  • Very cool. Love trying new items and there are a couple here, like Unstoppables, that I still haven’t tried.

  • Paying a little for samples is okay, as long as you think you will use them. I understand why companies need to start charging. So many people requests samples when they really have no interest in the products but just want free stuff.

  • I think this is a good idea but to be honest, I’d rather pay a little more and get a few more samples in each package if that was an option. It seems like a lot when you’re only getting one dishwasher tab, one laundry tab, etc. 🙂 Just my humble opinion.

    • Totally agree! I would be more interested if there were 5+ uses for each product or other size options for the diapers.

  • I think it’s an interesting concept but I think the amounts you get are flawed. I know a lot of people, myself included would be willing to pay a bit more if samples were full sized! Doesn’t seem worth it when they are so small

  • Interesting idea, but not really “money-saving” unless you could use Newborn size diapers. One (in some cases 2) pods doesn’t really give you much to base your opinion on. After looking at the options, I decided not to order. Better value to print the P&G coupons and buy the regular size.

  • I din’t mind paying for my samples. I ordered the larger one and all the items I would use. Much cheaper than going out and buying them

  • I love trying products to ensure I like them, they do what they’re supposed to do, and ensure that I will use them. I enjoy providing my feedback on these products, so don’t feel that we should be charged for shipping the products.

  • great tips and i love the heads up on the sample packs, They are a family favourite in our house!

  • I love pg brand s but unless your using the newborn diapers the price of shipping is a little steep for what you get. I’d rather wait till the item is on sale . I do understand why they have to start charging some shopping cost though

  • looks like a great way to sample some products! does anyone know if you can request a certain diapers size or is it only newborn?

  • I love the “try before you buy” program idea – saves me from investing in a full size product until I know it will work for me and my family.

  • This sounds like a great way to be able to trial several products before buying for a pretty low cost… Very great idea from P&G!

  • I have been getting samples for a long time from Proctor and Gamble, and have much appreciated the samples. I have bought their products many times after trying a sample, and probably wouldn’t have otherwise. I will miss the free samples for sure, and I will probably pay to get them now.
