Recently Saskatoon was taken over by super heroes! “Marvel Universe Live!”, the original live action arena tour, had a run in #yxe and it was SUPER!
I took my 6 year old son and his friends. From the moment we arrived at Sasktel Center, they were vibrating with excitement! I think the anticipation building in their seats before was the cutest part.
Marvel brings together the Avengers, some of the X-Men and a host of others to battle Loki and his minions. This kids were on the edge of their seats as dirt bikes lapped around the stadium and the show climaxed. While there is the ‘peak’ in the storyline, the entire show is high energy. The boys didn’t lose interest, the show had their full attention the entire time.
While all of the sounds, lights, and special effects were top notch, I was very impressed by the performers themselves. It is a very physically demanding show. The athleticism of the performers was incredible! Spiderman does acrobatics from the ceiling, Captain America does triple flips – and my favourite scene – when Black Widow fought off 5 bad guys (which prompted cheers from all the women in the crowd!)
“Awesome!” and “so cool” were among the little boys review of the show. As a mom who was originally just there to chauffer and chaperone – turns out I also found Marvel Universe Live highly entertaining!
Super Parent tip: The merchandise at Marvel Universe Live is pricey – but you know the kids are dying for it. I suggest having a plan. This may be a great night to spend that tooth fairy money, or hard earned allowance!

My husband is taking our five year old. We are hoping to rush him past the merchandise like we did for disney live!
hubby would have LOVED this! it would have made for a great date night since he loves anything to do with comics and i love shows!
I want to take my grandsons to see this show when it comes to Toronto. They are all about super heroes right now. Glad to hear the kids enjoyed the whole show.
I was able to take my kids to this and it was an amazing show!!! So fun and loved the story line.

We took my son and niece this weekend and they LOVED it! I was even surprised by how into it I was. We hit up the dollar store and grabbed some souveniers to avoid spending money on the merchandise sold there.
My nephew went to the show in Winnipeg. He had such a good time that he was talking a mile a minute and was super animated! Great show and great value for the money, concessions not included.
Our family just LOVES all the Marvel movies & characters, & we would enjoy this show immensely! But unfortunately it’s not coming to Calgary 🙁 So disappointing. You guys are so lucky to have seen it!

We caught the Marvel Live show when it was in Vancouver and it was awesome! I highly recommend it to anyone that is a superhero fan. It’s full of amazing stunts!
