Photo Gifts From Staples

By Lisa Dutton…

The next time you are stumped as to what to get somebody for a gift – consider Staples!

Staples Canada just launched a line of photo gifts that allows you to turn your personal photos into anything from playing cards to t-shirts.

As the proud mom of 2 little boys, my phone is crammed with adorable photos of my kids.

I recently uploaded a fun shot of my kiddos onto some playing cards. I gave it to my dad (grandpa) as a birthday gift. Creating this deck of cards took just a few clicks of the mouse. And for a simple shot from my cell phone, the quality of the cards is incredible! Needless to say Grandpa absolutely loved his gift. The deck of cards cost only $15.00, but the sentimental value is far greater!

I took one of my all time favourite photos of my husband and son (I actually took the photo) and uploaded it to be done up on a 16X20 framed canvas. The process almost seemed “too easy”. Again, a few clicks of the mouse – then fingers crossed it would turn out!

While Staples will ship your projects directly to you (orders over $45 include FREE shipping), I opted to pick up from a location near my home. When I opened up the piece, I gasped! It is stunning – or I should say ‘they’ are stunning! This large scale piece cost $67.50. Relative to professional photography and framing – very reasonable.

Other personalized photo gifts from Staples include t-shirts, mouse pads, puzzles, key chains and coasters.
