Lisa’s LNBF Summer Picks

LNBF is a line of eco-friendly clothing that I have become a huge fan of over the past year.

The LNBF brand name stands for Leave Nothing But Footprints. The company is continually looking for ways to reduce their ecological footprint. Garments are ethically-produced, and organics are used as much as possible. Fabrics include bamboo, organic cotton, tencil and modal. The majority of pieces contain up to 95-96% organic material.

Comfort doesn’t always translate to fashion forward looks, but with LNBF it does!!!

Check out the Joyce Tunic($104.99) I wear this dress for work, and plan to wear it to a wedding this summer. The best part – IT FEELS LIKE PAJAMAS! This dress is my favourite piece of clothing ever. The sheer, drapey overlay hides everything I don’t like about my body. I don’t have to worry about sucking in my tummy – and feeling good is the first step in looking good, right? The Joyce Tunic is a MUST have for every woman. It also works on every body type. I loaned mine to a friend this past weekend who is far shorter, and it looked perfect on her too! The Joyce Tunic comes in two colours; black and jade (a light fresh green tone). You can also wear any bra with it, it covers all straps.

Another piece I am loving from LNBF this season is the Lila Top ($49.99). So simple, but with an edge that makes it unique. This shirt is all about the cut. It hangs just slightly away from the body, and has the look of ‘tailored T.’ The whole LNBF line isn’t fussy. It all works together and makes getting dressed easy. I always feel comfortable yet put together. I got the Lila Top in aloe, and plan to add both black and ivory to my wardrobe!

Sometimes people hesitate to shop online because sizing properly can be difficult. But it is seriously SO EASY with LNFB! Most of the collection runs XS to XXL and fits true to size (there is also a sizing guide to help). I am a S in tops, bottoms and dresses.

I can’t finish this post without mentioning LNBF’s best selling Hannah Pant. This piece is truly unique. Pull on pants with an overlay on the back that appears like a long skirt. Basically, it covers your bum! No wedgie, see thru, cellulite, yoga pant problems here! The Hannah Pant is simply brilliant! They are so amazing on everybody (and every body!) that most sizes are currently on back order – but trust me – they are worth the wait! I couldn’t get a great shot of the pants on me so the website pic will have to do, until you catch me wearing them on air one day, perhaps!
