About six months ago I took a leap of faith and switched from my beloved Apple phone and jumped on the Android bandwagon. I’ll admit it was a bit overwhelming at first; however the Android platform very quickly grew on me. Personally I can’t imagine going back to the ‘simplicity’ of the iPhone, and absolutely love the total customization available on Android supported devices. (Disclaimer: I’m still a lover of Apple products and could never give up my Mac computer.)
There is certainly no shortage of choice when it comes to the various brands of phones and tablets out there, and many of them at a very hefty price point. So what is a person to do if they want a tablet, but is really not interested in paying an arm and a leg?
Enter ALCATEL ONETOUCH, one of the world’s top ten mobile phone manufactures and one of the newest makers of phones and tablets that have come to Canada within the past year. While my smartphone already is quite large, and thus appropriately dubbed the “phablet” I must admit that the ALCATEL ONETOUCH is much nicer for random surfing on the internet, watching videos, browsing through Facebook, and playing games. Perhaps it’s my aging eyes, but it’s a definite bonus when I don’t have to squint to see what I’m looking at.
I really like that it is so slender and lightweight that I can easily carry it in my purse and not feel like I’m lugging around a brick. The quality, color and dynamic features are really impressive too. If you’re already an Android fan, you’ll have no problem using the ALCATEL ONETOUCH Tablet as the interface is very similar to other devices. If you’re new to this interface, fear not, it won’t take long to understand and become a super user.
