Snack Pack Playground Everywhere

I’m trying to be more in the moment this summer and fall.  To take in my surroundings rather than zero in on the iPhone in my hand at the park, for example.  To zone out and watch the clouds sitting on my deck rather than reading my favorite gossip site on my iPad.  It takes practice for this busy mom of 3 to just…chill.  But I’m getting better at it!

I suppose this zen idea comes from taking the world in like a child.  Children appreciate the small stuff, and just looking at my 2-year-old’s reaction to the smallest things in her life show me that I’m on the right path.

Snack Pack, in a similar way, is capturing that simple excitement in their Playground Everywhere campaign.  The idea is that grabbing a Snack Pack, tearing off the lid and scooping out a delicious spoonful of pudding and slurping it off the spoon can take us all back to the simplicity and playfulness of childhood.

Try it, I dare you.

How can you not go back to that feeling, even for a second or two, as a busy mom in the middle of your day, when slurping pudding off a spoon?  It’s impossible!

To celebrate childhood, those joyful moments, and to recreate the fun, Snack Pack is bringing The Amazing Snack Pack Pudding Truck to neighborhoods in Toronto!  I know, I know, just Toronto so we’ll have to live vicariously through our neighbors while they enjoy this fun branded truck popping up in neighborhoods and bringing with it fun-filled pudding to add even more excitement to back to school this month!

In the meantime, use this campaign as your own mission to share the Playground Everywhere message.  Pop in a Snack Pack pudding into the kid’s lunch, stop at the park on the way home instead of the grocery store, or have some massive fun jumping in the leaves with the kids (yes, they are going to fall and pile up soon!)  The point – enjoy the moment, create the moments when you can, and recapture the innocence and fun of childhood when a pudding can make everything better.  Don’t you wish life worked that way all the time?  Tear off a lid and indulge, it might just work.
