Since being officially established in 2008, after blogging a bit here and there the year before, Feisty Frugal & Fabulous was fast out of the gate from day one! I held the first Feisty Frugal & Fabulous Holiday Gift Guide in the fall of 2008. I pitched, probably, 350+ companies that fall and for whatever reason a select few took a leap of faith and participated in that guide. From 2009 onward Feisty Frugal & Fabulous grew monthly and today 5 years later this little space on the web has far surpassed any expectations I had and continues to bring me great joy every day!
Going into my 6th (!!!) Feisty Frugal & Fabulous Holiday Gift Guide brings with it a certain amount of knowledge (it’s going to be the busiest but yes, most wonderful time of the year!) and expectation (coffee is a must, late nights by the Christmas tree will happen, and emails from excited giveaway winners are usually loaded with lots of exclamation points!)
This year, instead of doing it all myself because I’m an OCD-prone super-woman-not-really, I’m bringing on three women to help out. Optional baking brought to brainstorming sessions always helps too.
You may have seen Lisa Dutton’s recent reviews on the blog, and earlier this spring Tara Richter contributed a post on planting for black-thumbs like me. Now, Lise Merle is joining this trifecta of awesomeness that is my blogger contributor team! Each has their own story, their own strengths, and reasons why I think they are feisty frugal and fabulous women! Best of all they are all, like me, based in our beautiful province of Saskatchewan keeping Feisty Frugal & Fabulous true to its (dusty, windy) roots.
Look for features by Lisa, Lise, and Tara this fall and holiday season! I know that with the added help and support Feisty Frugal & Fabulous is going to once again blow me away with all that it has become.
