Binky & Bobo is a Canadian based company specializing in practical and wearable clothing for babies and children.

Their signature piece is a Reversible Tie Dress (shown here with additional appliques you can add).

Why reversible? If you have a toddler, the answer is pretty obvious! Toddlers are messy, and on a day when you have your toddler in a dress, a day when it’s especially important they stay non-messy, they will find the perfect way to sabotage your efforts.

Because they’re reversible (typically with a solid print on one side and a pattern on the other), mom or dad can simply switch it up – and save the day – by turning the dress inside out should a messy drop, drip, or full out stain happen.

I chose one size up for both my daughters, to be on the safe side, and am happy with the 3T for my two-year-old and 6T for my five-year-old.  I want to ensure my kids get the most wear they can out of their clothing so I’ll order a size up to be sure of that.  A pleasant surprise for me was learning that these dresses can also be worn as a tunic style top in a few years!  That means I can get even more use out of these reversible tie dresses!  Frugal high give to Binksy & Bobo for that!
